Are You Up to Date?

Your Alcatel-Lucent benefits are important to you and your family.
So be sure to keep the personal information and beneficiary designations you have on file up
to date.

You may update your personal information and/or beneficiary designations anytime on YBR. Simply select the “Your Profile” tab at the top of the page. From the drop-down menu, select “Personal Information” and/or “Beneficiaries” as applicable.

You can also call the Alcatel-Lucent Benefits Center at 1-888-232-4111 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time (ET), Monday through Friday.

Important: You will need to wait until January 7, 2014 or later to update your 401(k) Plan beneficiary designations on YBR or through the Alcatel-Lucent Benefits Center.

Starting January 7, 2014, you will see some big changes when you log on to the YBR website.

The homepage has been totally redesigned with you in mind. Now, finding the benefits information you need, when you need it, will be faster and easier than ever.

Check out these new features:

  • “Tiles” that take you directly where you want to go. You will still find the familiar section tabs at the top of the page. But the fastest and easiest way to get around the site will be to click on any of the tiles on the homepage.
  • Your Information. See a summary of your retirement benefits and/or medical coverage
    (as applicable). Want the details?
    • Click on the “401(k) Account Balance” tile to go to the “Retirement Account Summary” page.
    • Click on the “Medical” tile to go to the “Medical Plan Coverage Details” page.
  • Highlights for You. Just one click takes you to the most frequently accessed pages on the site. For example:
    • Have you experienced a life event? Click on the “Change Your Coverage” tile to go to the “Life Events” page.
    • Do you want to check the funds in which your 401(k) account balance is invested? Click on the “View Your Investments” tile to go to the “Investment Summary” page.
  • Rotating carousel tile. Located in the “Highlights for You” section, the rotating carousel tile displays important messages about your benefits. For example, to see what to expect for 2014, click on the “What’s New?” tile.
  • Two new ways to access BenefitAnswers Plus.
    • From the login page of YBR, just click the “BenefitAnswers Plus” tile that applies to you. No need to enter your YBR User ID or password. OR
    • Log in to YBR with your User ID and password. On the homepage, you will see a tile for BenefitAnswers Plus. Click it and you will go directly to “your” version of the site.
  • And much, much more!
