Important Information About the Nokia Solutions and Networks Savings Plan

As previously announced, on December 31, 2016 the legacy Nokia Solutions and Networks Savings Plan will be merged into the Alcatel-Lucent Savings/401(k) Plan to create a new Plan — the Nokia Savings/401(k) Plan.

With the plan merger, there are a number of important changes for Nokia Solutions and Networks Savings Plan participants. The “Coming Soon: Your New Savings and Retirement Plans From Nokia” transition guide outlines the changes resulting from the merger, how they might affect you and what actions you might want to take before and after the transition.

As part of the transition, and as described in the guide, there are temporary periods — called “blackout periods” — during which you will have limited or no access to your Plan account. These periods are a standard practice and help ensure a smooth and accurate transfer of records.

If you have questions about the transition, blackout dates or your benefits under the Nokia Savings/401(k) Plan, please refer to the contact information in the “Coming Soon: Your New Savings and Retirement Plans From Nokia” transition guide.
